Pink Floyd,s first lp titled "Piper at the gates of dawn" SX 6157 MONO COLUMBIA BLUE/BLACK LABEL.MATRIX INFORMATION XAX 3419-2/XAX 3420-1(both stamped on run of groove)RELEASE DATE AUGUST 5TH 1967.mono issue on a black columbia label with a blue columbia trademark logo.Front cover is a kaleidoscope picture of the band with "PINK FLOYD" in large letters near the bottom.emi logo is in left hand corner of sleeve.The rear of the sleeve is an earnest j day flipback with syd barrett artwork and song descriptions.Note that at the top right hand of the flipback there is no writing as some came with "File under POPULAR : Pop Groups.COMES WITH ORIGIONAL COLUMBIA INNER SLEEVE.Hope i have provided all the information required.CONDITION! The record is in stunning mint condition,could only have been played maybe 2 or 3 times as the centre hole indicates as there is virtually no spindle wear at all.The sleeve is in mint- condition due to minimum corner wear.The rear of the sleeve including flipbacks are as new as scans provided show.A CHANCE TO OWN A RARE LP IN UNBELIEVABLE CONDITION.Can'y be many left in this condition!
