BIRDS BIRDS – Say Those Magic Words / Daddy Daddy * ORIG Reaction 45 / 591 005 (UK, Mono, 1966)

Proud to present a true keeper, close to Mint copy of this legendary 1960s single, the last from the UK band previously known as ‘The Birds’ and featuring, of course, a young Ronnie Wood – who co-wrote the B-side here. If you’ve been after a properly looked after, good looking copy of this 47 years old disc then look no further...
It is presented in a plain white, die-cut 45 sleeve. I can’t vouch for it being the original but as most Reaction singles were released this way, it could well be. The sleeve is in EX (Excellent) condition.
The labels are TEXTURED and are in a lovely condition. NO writing, stickers, residue, tears or rips. Just a hint of storage rubbing but as you can see from the photos, these are a terrific set of these vintage labels!
The vinyl is in tremendous shape. Visually, the A-side grades a confident EX+ (Excellent Plus), looking close to mint while the B shows a couple of light scuff lines (super soft, hardly visible) so looks EX (Excellent). Any marking is very light, unobtrusive and only visible under extreme examination. The disc maintains virtually full shine on both sides. Lovely looking copy of this seminal single! IT HAS BEEN CAREFULLY LISTENED TO and plays just fine both sides. So that means NO snap, crackle or pop, no repetitive clicks, hiss, swishes or groove wear. No distortion or loss of clarity/lack of definition. I didn’t even pick up any soft ticks. A great listen which sounds the same as it would’ve done back in ’66. Superb!
