The Café Extra-Ordinaire Story Ninth Note NNR-007LP is STILL SEALED, unplayed and new. There are 'wobbles' in the jacket due to shrinkwrap tightening over time. Also some moisture damage under the shrink in some areas. Please refer to picture of the actual record being sold.
Notes: You won’t find the name Bobby Jackson in the jazz books. Yet here is a remarkable man who did more than anyone to promote live jazz in his hometown of Minneapolis, risking everything to open a venue for jazz lovers and putting on such luminaries as Freddie Hubbard, Roland Kirk and Elvin Jones. In so doing he rode the wave of financial insecurity, dealt with problems involving drugs, the law and the police, not to mention the issues and temperaments of the musicians themselves. Yet he still managed to keep things together enough to record a truly deep and inspired album in 1970 with his own band - although it took another 8 years before it was finally released, albeit in minimal quantities and with zero distribution! Rare private press jazz with some idyllic moments such as 'Paul's Akr' and 'Ebonite'.

We use the following grading system:
Sealed : Factory sealed, as new condition and unopened since manufacture
NM : Very clean, shiny and like new
VG++ : Clean vinyl, few if any marks which will be light and not affecting play
VG+ : Marks on vinyl but no scratches that make any significant noise, plays well
VG : Marks and light scratches on vinyl, plays ok with some noise here and there but nothing detrimental to the overall sound
