Description
Original Stereo "Yesterday and Today" Butcher paste over album, ST-2553, Inner Sleeve with Capitol circular label with rainbow album This version has the original Butcher Cover intact underneath and the pasted trunk cover on top. This is a very nice "Stereo" second state Beatles the RIAA number is 5 The cover is very white and in very clean condition with no show of ring wear. The Corners are in good shape, the lower spine has a 2 inch crack at the center just under Paul's hands. There is some writing visible in the photos on the cover, George has a small bit of blue ball point pen marks around his mouth, Ringo has a small X on his lips as well, Paul has a line on his sleeve and hand, John is untouched, and there is one line coming down from the "E" in the word "Dimensional" please see photos for reference. No attempt has been made to peel this album but you can clearly see the outline of Ringo’s V neck underneath. The stereo vinyl is in good condition, and the original inner paper sleeve is super clean. These stereo Butcher Covers are way more rare than the Mono version and are getting harder to find in this condition. I was told by many record collectors, this one was one of the cleanest they have ever seen, and that the blue ball point pen marks could be removed, but the name on the back could not be removed.
