Beatles LP First Pressing MONO Something New in Shrink Beautiful Copy!

Vinyl--- Not Near Mint, but man, is it close!  REALLY close.  The surface on each side shines like a mirror.  Decca pressing.  There are a very few scattered, very light angel hairs on each side, but you’d better have a bare bulb to see them.  Otherwise, it will look like a new album under normal room lighting.

Plates--- T12/T12

Cover--- Gorgeous.  There is some light yellowing on the back, but in the main, the cover looks new.  Still has the original price sticker on the shrink wrap.  A small one-inch section of shrink wrap is missing from the bottom right front cover.  Two breathe holes on the front cover, one just above the sticker and the other above the “O” in the first “Something.”  There are two on the back cover as well, one below the photo of The Beatles’ Second Album, and the other in the text of the “…And Hit Singles” section.

Labels--- First pressing label has the misspelling, “Nicholas.”  Side 1 label has a manufacturer’s defect, where at the playhole, the paper folded before it was glossed.  I had to use a flash to capture it, which is why it looks white in the photo.  But in reality, it blends in, because it is a crease.  Both sides have spindle marks, which are overly-pronounced, due to the use of the flash.  They are not nearly as they appear.

Capitol Inner Sleeve--- Royal blue Capitol inner sleeve is present.  The date, “Dec. 25, 1964” is written in ballpoint at the bottom right of one side.  One seam has a 2 inch split at the center.

RIAA: 3

Maybe just a whisker off of Near Mint on the vinyl.  But I think a serious collector would still consider it a final upgrade.

Note:  All LP’s ship outside of their album covers in order not to damage the covers during shipment.

CAUTION!  There has been a startling increase in bidders canceling their bids.  A word to the wise, I have started blocking any and all bidders who retract their bids regardless of the reason.

Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!

(Please note that due to time constraints, I have had to stop play-testing my vinyl.  However, I am happy to by request.  As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)
