'LET IT BE'
This set comprises all original components and appears here as it was purchased by its original owner in 1970. Nothing has been switched or exchanged.
CONDITION
Outer Slipcase
EXCELLENT
An impressive square & fully intact example which retains its high-gloss laminate on both sides with just light storage and handling wear but no major faults. The rear panel has a 6cm light wrinkle towards the right opening edge and a few smaller ones on the edges themselves, but no tears to any of the edges front or rear. Both upper and lower edges are clean, square & fully laminated with significant wear to either.
Trays
Outer: EXCELLENT
Very clean & strong and still in-shape with un-crushed sides with just slight rubbing to the edge of one. The fold-over flaps are both clean & undamaged and the rear is clean, black & unworn.
Inner: EXCELLENT
This most delicate components is completely intact & in-shape, with just a single small tears to ONE of the corners where the book sits and a few small creases to the opposite corner. All the outer flaps are fully intact with no tears or damage to any.
Book
EXCELLENT +
A superb, possibly unread copy with clean, high-gloss covers which display just a hint or storagewear to the rear but no other significant signs of wear. All pages are present, undamaged and in 'as new' condition with none loose or missing. Apart from a tiny rub the the upper and lower spine edges, the spine itself is unworn & 'uncracked'.
LP Record
Housed in a fully laminated, 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with a reddish, green Apple logo on the reverse.
N.B. Contrary to popular opinion, these sets were definately sold with BOTH red & green Apple logo covers.
Complete with original crisp white 'Patent No. 1,125,555' inner-sleeve.

Stamper numbers: 1,7/GGG & 6/GPA
Disc weight: 146g

Just three or four light spindle marks to each label.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine 'as new' surfaces which as completely unmarked in strong daylight with just a few insignificant wispy paper hairlines from inner-sleeve removal visible only directly beneath my halogen desk lamp.Both side of this fine disc lie 100% flat on both sides with no dishing or warping.
Play: NEAR MINT
This disc has received just a few careful plays on top-quality equipment and my careful playcheck at volume uncovered no traces of any audible wear or faults. Every track plays cleanly & clearly with no background noise or groovewear distortion - even on John's opening 'I dig a Pigmy..' remark.
LP Cover
VERY GOOD +
Clean & glossy example with light handling & storagwear but no major faults.
The front panel has 2 small 'thumbnails' wrinkles and there is a few flecks of missing paper to the exposed lower rear edge, but no further significant faults or wear.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Clean & white with just minor storagewear but no writing, tears or splits.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
