Description

Please Please Me, Parlophone, PMC 1202.

Release March 22, 1963. "Gold" mono label! The Beatles first official L.P.! First pressing! Black label with gold print and “Parlophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print.  “Dick James Mus. Co” uncorrect publishing credit for “I Saw Her Standing There”, “Misery”, “Do You Want To Know A Secret” & “There’s A Place”. With 33 1/3 on the label. Original Ernest J.Day & Co. front laminated cover, with large “mono” on front. Polythene-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. Matrix numbers and stampers: Side 1: XEX 421-1N   2/GM; Side 2: XEX 422-1N  1/GA. Beautiful copy!

Conditions:

Record: Ex - (has a shiny vinyl, playing well, there are no deep scratches, no jumps, no click, a little rustling between tracks only).

Labels: Vg (text reads clearly).
