BEAUTIFUL NEW copy from one my all time favorite bands, Catherine Wheel, and this is a LIMITED EDITION COLOR VINYL copy of their great album "Ferment". Incredibly great band that is part shoe gaze, part hard rock, part space rock, and all excellent. This is a 2017 reissue of their 1992 1st LP. Interesting fact: the singer / guitarist / songwriter Rob Dickenson is the brother of Bruce Dickenson, singer for Iron Maiden! But, the bands couldn't be much farther apart, Catherine Wheel being a 90's band without a metal sound, though GREAT guitar work. This has the tracks "Texture", "I Want To Touch You", one of the best songs from the 90's: "Black Metallic", Indigo Is Blue", and "She's My Friend" on Side One, with "Shallow", "Ferment", "Flower To Hide", "Tumbledown", "Bill and Ben", and "Salt". If I can turn anyone on to "lesser known" bands, this would definitely be one (along with The Crocodiles, The Black Angels, and Julian Cope, for starters). This is a pretty rare copy as it was pressed on ORANGE AND GOLD MIXED COLOR VINYL (one of only 100 pressed), and INDIVIDUALLY NUMBERED (this is #885!). This is also on 180 GRAM VINYL, still has very nice corners, a super legible spine, and NO tears in the shrink wrap. This band put out so many incredibly great albums, check them out (especially "Happy Days" and "Adam and Eve", as well as "Chrome" and "Cats and Dogs". WHILE THIS IS NEW, it came only in a sticky sealed clear plastic cover with hype sticker, that's how I was able to show the vinyl itself.
