David Bowie Hunky Dory Vinyl Album
1971 UK FIRST pressing, the one considered to be the best sounding.
Bobil etched on Side 1 on runout groove, APRS 5948 3T as well
Rasputin etched on Side 2 run-out Grove APRS 5948 3T as well
The first 3T pressings comes in a heavy deep grooved slab of vinyl which makes a big difference when you hear it, it absolutely does!!.... also these first release heavy deep grooved vinyl are really built to last, they stand the test of time easily better than later copies
The record is in tremendous condition, just look at the reflection in the pics to see how clean and what a sheen there is to it
Looks great even under a strong light with an absence of any nasty marks or significant scratches
But more importantly its a fantastic sounding piece of vinyl, these Bobil/Rasputin copies of Hunky Dory are considered by many to be the truest to the sound of the master recording.
I've had loads of Hunky Dory copies and in my opinion The 3T BOBIL Rasputin copies are indeed the best..
There is silence between the tracks on this copy.
There are a couple of clicks on Fill Your Heart the first track on side 2.
I test play all my vinyl before listing, it's not a guessing game for my descriptions, so there were
No sticks or jumps whatsoever on this copy, it sounded magical.
The Inner lyric insert is in very good condition
The album cover is in fantastic condition, perfect strong seams and a great spine.
Still nice and clean on the rear.
No writing or dirty marks, with a small bit of sticker residue at the rear.
It's a REALLY good Hunky Dory cover, which is a tricky thing to find on a 53 year old album
