Horace Silver - 6 Pieces Of Silver LP
Description: Extremely rare original mono deep groove first pressing Horace Silver Blue Note Jazz LP featuring Horace Silver, piano; Donald Byrd, trumpet; Hank Mobley, tenor sax; Doug Watkins, bass; and Louis Hayes, drums.
Year: 1957
Label/Number: Blue Note 1539 Mono (deep groove, 767 Lexington Avenue, NYC address, "RVG" and "Ear" in dead wax)
Conditions:
Jacket/Sleeve: VG+ (overall nice front cover image, bottom seam split completely, top seam split about 1/4 inch on right hand side, top and left hand seam show wear in a few spots, corners bumped slightly, very small stains on upper right hand corner of front cover, no writing anywhere on cover)
Vinyl: VG (light surface scuffs, decent gloss, plays without skipping with light to moderate background noise, background noise could very possibly be reduced with further cleaning or use of a record cleaning machine, small "X" drawn in blue pen ink on upper right hand corner of label, side two)
