JOHN LENNON & YOKO ONO - 'UNFINISHED MUSIC No.2 - LIFE WITH THE LIONS'
This early 1st pressing of John & Yoko's 2nd experimental album is on Apple's 'Zapple' label: ZAPPLE 02
Both label include the 'Sold in UK...' text, removed by EMI just as this album just as this album was being released in May 1969
Side 1 features a live performance as recorded on 2nd March 1969 at Lady Mitchell Hall, Cambridge
Side 2 was recorded on a cassette recorder in Room No. 1 Second West Ward, Queen Charlotte Hospital, Hammersmith, London. It captures the sounds and experiences of Yoko's pregnancy and subsequent miscarriage, along with the infamous track 'Two Minutes Silence'

An attractive pair but label 2 shows signs of foxing and there are a handful of light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces which are free from any noticeable marks or wear in strong daylight. Closer examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals a few harmless wispy paper hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal, but nothing of any significance.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
Played just a handful of times on quality equipment, the entire album plays cleanly & clearly with no trace of wear to any part. Apart from a touch of low-level vinyl background in the quieter passages, it is flawless.
Cover: VERY GOOD +
This album has been stored for many years and is a little musty. Both front & rear panels are clean & glossy with a handful of 'thumbnail' wrinkles towards the front opening edge and a few more along the spine.
The rear panel bears a light disc impression from storage but no other significant signs of wear. There is slight wear to the front opening edge but all corners are in excellent shape.
Both seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine is unworn & fully worded throughout.
Inner-sleeve: VERY GOOD +
Flat & uncreased with some age-toning & a disc impression, but no writing, tears or seams splits.
