JOHN LENNON & YOKO ONO - 'UNFINISHED MUSIC No.2 - LIFE WITH THE LIONS'
This early 1st pressing of John & Yoko's 2nd experimental album is on Apple's 'Zapple' label: ZAPPLE 02
Both label include the 'Sold in UK...' text, which was removed just as this album just as this album was being released in May 1969
Side 1 features a live performance as recorded on 2nd March 1969 at Lady Mitchell Hall, Cambridge.
Side 2 was recorded on a simple cassette recorder, in Room No. 1 Second West Ward, Queen Charlotte Hospital, Hammersmith. It captures the sounds and experiences of Yoko's pregnancy and subsequent miscarriage. It also includes the infamous track 'Two Minutes Silence'
A 'KJT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the side 1 label

Housed in a fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover, together with original printed inner-sleeve.

An immaculate, unblemished pair with just two faint spindle trails around the side 2 centre hole only
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces where the only blemish in strong daylight is a tiny 2mm mark on side 1 which appears to be actually in the vinyl itself. Closer examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals a few harmless inner-sleeve removal marks and a sparkling rainbow shine
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
Played just once or twice at most, the entire albums plays cleanly & clearly with no trace of wear to any part. Apart from light tick on the aforementioned mark on side 1, the album plays flawlessly
Cover: EXCELLENT
A strong and clean example with an unscratched and unworn high-gloss front panel free from any 'thumbnail' wrinkles. There is some minor damage to the front opening edge, mainly a 4mm 'nick' towards the lower end. All corners are sharp and unworn with no heavy bumps or bruising to any
The rear panel bears is again wrinkle-free with just some light shelfwear to the upper and lower edges
Both seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine is fully worded
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Flat & uncreased with an unavoiable light disc impression and no writing, tears or seams splits.
