Description

THE WALL a 1st Issue on the UK Harvest label from 1979. Matrix A2/B4-A3/B3. TML mastered. The records come housed in the original gatefold cover. Please note there is no mention of the four band members in purple in the space directly above the picture of the child behind bars - this is indicative of 1st issues. All later copies have the four band members names in purple. Also included are both original inner sleeves with the notch at the top and rounded corners. So, this example is 100% complete and 100% original...
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) Shiny like new and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks on each side - of little consequence and nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of slight deviations. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with great clarity. We only detected some light static in a few of the tracks - and certainly nothing that stands out. These early pressings really are by far the best way to hear the WALL in all its glory.
Cover (Ex) Remains in fantastic condition with a beautifully white front and back. The interior is immaculate and without defect. The openings are sharp suggesting once again this LP has not seen much use. Overall the cover retains perfect rigidity and is a really fantastic specimen.
Inners (Ex) Are in excellent unmarked condition. No splits!
