This stunning and rare gatefold LP from Dynamic (DS 4028, Italian pressing, black/silver label, stereo) features legendary violinist Ruggiero Ricci in unsurpassed performances of Heinrich Wilhelm Ernst’s 6 Polyphonic Studies for Violin Solo and Henri Wieniawski’s Studi-capricci for Violin Solo from his l’Ecole moderne Op. 10, both recorded in Italy in March 1983. The sound is of demonstration, audiophile quality – a remarkable album in every way.
The striking cover photo of Ricci was taken by P. Mosetti Casaretto. The interior panels of the gatefold jacket carry extensive liner notes – provided in Italian and English – by Edward Neill.
CONDITION:
The gradations of condition I use are as follows: MINT, Near-Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.
The condition of the jacket is VERY GOOD. Really the only flaw preventing a NM grading concerns a cut to the lower-right corner (cut-out copy). however, there are no seamsplits, owners' markings, bends, or other defects, and the album remains solid, bright, glossy, and highly attractive – overall, a very good collector's copy.
The condition of the LP is near-MINT and playback is superb – overall, a truly fine collector's copy.

This LP has been carefully cleaned using a VPI cleaning machine. All LPs are provided with a new Nagaoka (or Nagaoka-style) inner sleeve.
