Description

An original 1st mono press of AHDN on the UK Parlophone label from 1964. Matrix 3N/3N. Please note label design is consistent with 1st press and exhibits  'recording 1st published', and 'Parlophone' is mentioned in the perimeter text. It also employs the chubby font only found on the very first 1st pressings The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original mono G&L cover with flipbacks. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing heavy or troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Whether it's the low-key numbers or the uptempo ones it's all delivered with aplomb and precision. Interference is extremely limited and infrequent. We'll do the usual catch-all...expect nothing more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side. A very clean and impressive rendition...it doesn't get better than this! 
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Lovely shiny front with only a couple of light creases. The rear has escaped much of the ageing process - just light evidence of handling..it's looking very nice indeed. All flip-backs are intact and secure. Edge wear is light and the text on the spine is all legible. There's just a couple of minor stress creases. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. 
Inner (Ex-) Light ageing. No splits.
