Description

An original 1st mono press of AHDN on the UK Parlophone label from 1964. Matrix 3N/3N. Please note label design is consistent with 1st press and exhibits  'recording 1st published', and 'Parlophone' is mentioned in the perimeter text. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original mono G&L cover with flipbacks. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing heavy or troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Whether it's the low-key numbers or the uptempo ones it's all delivered with aplomb and precision. Interference is borderline non-existent. We'll do the usual catch-all...expect nothing more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side. The only deviation is 3-4 minor ticks as 'And I Love Her' closes out..No big deal. A very clean and impressive rendition...it doesn't get better than this! 
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Lovely shiny front with only a couple of light creases. The rear has escaped the worst of the ageing process - just the lightest of evidence..it's looking very nice indeed. All flip-backs are intact and secure. Edge wear is very light and the openings are still sharpish. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. 
Inner (Ex-) Light ageing. No splits.
