Description

An original 1st press of AHDN on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 3/3. Stampers 1-GD/4-AR. Please note labels are perfectly consistent with very 1st press - 'Parlophone' mentioned in perimeter text and the text font is the chubbier version as found only on the very very 1st copies. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In great condition and has has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with prefect clarity. It is very impressive and the audio is absolutely top-draw with great transparency. Interference is, thankfully, practically non-existent. All we could detect was a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments. It plays nice and clean even in those quieter tracks. Please note the side 1 label has been initialled.
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has been looked after down the years. Lovely shiny front cover with just a bit of creasing in a couple of spots. The rear seems to have escaped the worst of the usual fading that so often afflicts these covers. Edge wear is light, but there are a few creases evident on the flipbacks. The text on the spine is just about readable. Overall the cover retains very good rigidity.
Emitex (Vg+) Clean with no splits. Bit of ageing.
