Description

An original 1st press of AHDN on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 3N/3N. The labels are consistent with 1st press from 1964 - 'Parlophone' in the perimeter text and 'recording 1st published' still present. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original mono Garrod & Lofthouse cover.
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks either side,, and one superficial trail mark - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Just very nice clean audio from start to finish with little to complain at. Interference is both minor and infrequent. All I could detect were a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments. And one click in 'When I Get Home'. A really solid an impressive performance at a knock out price!!
Cover (Vg) In great shape and has survived the years in decent condition. Lovely clean front with just a couple of creases over toward the opening. The rear has escaped the worst of the ageing process, but there is a bit of it in one or two spots. Also note - there's a signature in biro in the top right sector. Edge wear is relatively light and the spine is pretty much entirely intact.
