Description

An original 1st issue of AHDN on the UK Parlophone label from 1964. Matrix 3N/3N. Please note the label design employs the chubby font and these pressings are the de facto very 1st of 1st pressings. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In very nice condition despite having seen a moderate level of use. There are a number of light marks either side, and the odd superficial trial - but absolutely nothing heavy that's going to sound or feature. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are really nice and quiet and the audio comes across with really good clarity. Interference is both minor and infrequent. All I could detect were a few crackles in a couple of spots per side. Nothing concerning at all.
Cover (Vg) In nice shape and just showing it's age in one or two spots now. Nice clean front, but there are a couple of crease in the top-right and the bottom-left. The rear has escaped the worst of the ageing process - just light tanning. There's edge wear, but nothing excessive. The spine looks ok, but is exhibiting a few stress creases and the text 'Days' is mostly obscured. Overall the cover still retains very good rigidity.
Inner (Ex) In great condition. No splits or markings.
