Description

An original 1st issue of AR on the UK Apple label from 1969. Matrix 2/1 - very 1st cut. The labels DO mention "Her Majesty" and are, thus, not the very earliest 1st press. But this particular example would have been available in the first couple of months after release - whilst the LP charted. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original G&L cover with mis-aligned Apple logo [believed to be the 1st iteration before printers corrected the issue]. We also have a REPLICA black inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out  a few light marks per side, and one superficial trail - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation. Intro and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. A really very sound player indeed with little to find fault with. Interference is minor and infrequent. Even those low-key tracks on side 2 play very nice and clean. The only deviation was in 'Come Together'. There are a couple of errant crackles in places during this track, and a couple of ticks midway through. Nothing invasive - it's more a case of this track does not play as clean as the rest of the LP. But setting aside that one relatively minor issue the rest of the LP will knock-you-out!
Cover (Ex-) Looks to still be in rather impressive condition and has clearly been cared for. A lovely shiny front with a few creases over at the opening. The rear is good too, but with just a couple of thumbnail creases. Edge wear is light for this title and the openings still sharpish. The spine is pretty much perfect with all text perfectly legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A really sweet looking copy.
Inner (Ex+) Remember - it's a replica! But in perfect condition.
