Description

A 1st press of Abbey Road from 1969 on the UK Apple label. Matrix 2/1. Stampers 3-RHA/7-RML. Please note the labels of this LP do not mention 'Her Majesty' - so this what we'd call the very earliest 1st pressing. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse printed cover. Also included is the original white inner sleeve. So, this is 100% original and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In great condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks either side. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity and only occasional interference. We didn't detect more than some light static in a couple of tracks.  The audio quality is superb as you would expect from one of these early copies. The only deviation is a slight mark in track 1 which results in a few crackles, but even this is relatively minor. A very nice player and the original 1st press to boot.
Cover (Ex) In great shape and that iconic front cover is in nice condition with only one vaguely noticeable crease. Colours are still really nice and vibrant with only a couple of tiny scuffs - barely visible. The spine is totally intact and overall the cover retains great rigidity. A great original example.
Inner (Vg) No splits, but a few marks.

Any purchase is guaranteed to get to you quickly, safely, and with total satisfaction, or your money back.
