Description
An original 1st press of Abbey Road on the UK Apple label. Matrix 2/1. Please note the labels make NO mention of 'Her Majesty' as found on all later copies. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse printed cover. Also included is the original Patent No. white inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-) In very nice condition and has only seen light to moderate use. Under close inspection there are a few light marks. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a NEAR EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is minor and relatively infrequent. All we could detect was a touch of light static in a couple of tracks and a couple of pops in 'Something'. A really very fine rendition of this Beatles classic on the true 1st pressing.
Cover (Ex+) This LP really has been taken very great care of down the years. Lovely shiny front and back showing only the very lightest of handling. There's very little creasing at all - which is the usual issue with this release. Edge wear is super light and that spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and lies perfectly flat.
Inner (Ex) No splits or markings. Little ageing either.
Any purchase is guaranteed to get to you quickly, safely, and with total satisfaction, or your money back.
