Description

An original 2nd mono press of Help! on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 2/2 [the 1st cut]. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original mono G&L cover with flip-backs. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) A lovely slab of vinyl and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remote troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Very little to complain at here....just good quality audio from this mid-sixties original copy. Interference is both minor and infrequent. All I could detect were a few crackles in a couple of spots per side [e.g. in Yesterday]. All very minor and certainly not persistent. A great little player and looking as swish as it sounds!
Cover (Ex) That iconic front cover really is an impressive looking specimen. There's a couple of stress creases along the spine and then just a minuscule sticker removal mark top left. The rear looks very nice indeed and doesn't seem to have suffered the usual ageing process you often find. All flipbacks are secure and intact. Edge wear is pretty light and the openings are still sharpish. The spine is in great condition with all text legible - just a couple of stress creases. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) very little ageing. No splits or markings.
