Serious collectors have a look at this beauty, in pristine condition from corner to corner, beautifully preserved, played carefully only a few times, and carefully stored away for all these years, with a stunning first issue Garrod & Lofthouse three flipback sleeve.
This is an original 1963 UK **FIFTH** Pressing mono Vinyl LP for The Beatles Debut UK Album Release,‘Please Please Me’. Although this version is documented as a 5th pressing it is still a 1963 issue.
The album is on the traditional Black & Yellow Parlophone Label, with ‘The Parlophone Co Ltd’ label rim, with ‘Recording First Published 1963’ and ‘Made in Gt. Britain’ label text.
The official machine stamped side 1 matrix is XEX 421-1N and Side XEX 422-1N.
Side 1 stampers: 12 RGT, Side 2stampers: 14 RAD. There is an embossed *KT* tax code visible on the centre of the side 1 record label.
The album comes in its correct and Use Emitex Lined Printed Bag and is housed in its original first issue Garrod & Loftouse Patents Pending, ‘mono’ front laminated sleeve with three flipbacks to the reverse.
The album plays without faults, a perfect clear mono sound quality Both record labels are in Mint Minus condition, both record labels look as new, all printed text is unfaded, all that is visible are a few faint signs of play to the centre of the labels, beautiful record labels.
Both sides of the vinyl disc are in beautiful flawless Mint condition, the Heavyweight Vinyl Disc is simply stunning, I have inspected both sides of the disc and there are no marks visible, the vinyl disc looks as new.
The tissue lined *Use Emitex* inner bag is in Near Mint condition, NO writing, tearing, or seam splits, still clean and white with just mild creasing.
The absolutely stunning front laminated picture sleeve is in extraordinary condition, the sleeve looks no different to how it looked back in 1963, the sleeve is stunning from corner to corner, I have to give it a Mint grade condition. The front of the sleeve is faultless, all corners are square and free from bumps. All edges and the spine edge are perfect.
The reverse of this beautiful sleeve is still white with no yellowing, or age spotting, all three flipbacks are perfect. (see detailed scan below)
This is a beautiful example of this 1963 Beatles Debut Original mono album.
