AN ORIGINAL AND COMPLETE 1967 MONO VERSION OF THE BEATLES SGT PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND ALBUM.

  No doubt, one of the Iconic albums of the 20th Century, The Beatles ‘Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ was released by EMI/Parlophone, UK on the 1st June 1967.  The album went straight to Number 1 in the album charts, and dominated the top position in the charts for 23 weeks wow! 

  Album Description and Condition:

  This first issue mono LP is on the traditional Black & Yellow Parlophone Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd label’ rim, ‘Sold in the UK….’ and ‘Made in Gt. Britain’ printed to both sides of the record labels.

  Both record labels are in superb Excellent Plus condition,  a very clean set of record labels, with no handwriting or fading to the Yellow and Silver Printed text, and just light signs of a few play’s  to the centre spindle holes on both record labels.

  Side 1 stamped matrix: XEX 637-1 and Side 2: XEX 638-1.

  Side 1 stampers: 3 OR and Side 2: 4 MO.

  There is an embossed KT Tax Code visible on the side 1 record label.

  Both sides of the vinyl disc are in visually Very Good to Very Good Plus condition,  bright vinyl surfaces to both sides, with some light surface hairlines on side 1, and a few more hairlines on side 2, none of which sound when played.

  The LP plays with great sound quality on both sides, very powerful, with a clear mono sound quality, with NO clicks, NO skips, just mild background crackle.

  The Vinyl LP comes in it’s original, Pink & White Flame Inner Bag which is inVery Good Plus condition, there is a 4” seam split to the bottom edge, and also included is the original unused first Issue Sgt Pepper Cut-Out, which is in Near Mint undamaged condition.

  And is protected in it’s very nice original First Issue fully Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Internal Flip back gatefold Sleeve printed ‘PMC 7027 Mono’ to the reverse, at the top right corner. The sleeve is in undamaged Excellent to Excellent Plus condition,  the sleeve still retains its high gloss laminate to the front, inner gatefold and reverse, with NO fading to the colours, and just mild signs of record storage, there are NO seam splits to any of the edges, and only a couple of very mild corner bumps.

  The inside of the Gatefold Sleeve is in perfect condition, with the two internal fold over flaps undamaged. The spine edge is very clean and white with just a hint of age toning, and the wording 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' is clearly legible.

  This is a nice example of an original 1967 mono SGT Pepper album, in nice condition, and 100% original and complete.
