The Rolling Stones Beggars Banquet, 1968 1st press, LK4955 Mono. Side 1 matrix; XARL-8476-4A Side 2 matrix; XARL-8476-2A The sleeve is very good; it is very presentable without discolouration or fading; it has some light laminate creasing. The disc has been stored in an anti static sleeve and the original inner sleeve is in excellent condition; no splits or tears. The labels have a small amount of spindle tracing, which is inevitable on the sensitive surface of the mono version-however this disc has been carefully handled over its lifetime and the audio shows no deterioration-it is pin sharp with no background interference, clicks or pops and has the immediacy and vibrancy which is unique to this mono pressing-impossible to capture on a compressed modern version. All in all very much a keeper copy. Will be posted fully protected in secure card mailer with stiffeners
