Description

An original 1st press of Beggars Banquet on the UK Decca label. Matrix 4K/3K. Stampers 1-IC/1-IG. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original stereo gatefold cover. Also included is the original Decca inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In absolutely stunning condition and has seen only the lightest use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Quite frankly one of the best renditions of Beggars Banquet I've heard. Very little to find fault with. Intros and inbetweens are practically silent and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Even the acoustic tracks play super-clean it really is very impressive. Interference is very minor. We didn't detect more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex) In superb shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. That iconic cover is still WHITE and seems to have almost totally avoided the ageing process. Back and front are lovely and with no markings, just a couple of light indentations on the rear. The interior is immaculate. Edge wear is super-light and the spine has the usual fold, but in all other respects it is in perfect condition. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and lies totally flat. What an example!
