Clarke Boland Sextett- Music for the small hours Columbia smc 74324 Columbia
This is the original stereo pressing on the german white/gold/red Columbia label, one of the rarest German jazz rcords I know of. Recording date june 16th 1967, sound Wolfgang Hirschmann recorded in Cologne. The record have only been played once and is in in nearly mint condition both cover and record. This is a legendary record, with a unique sound and some amazing jazz and dancefloorjazz tracks with some great vocals from Jimmy Woode and Sahib Shihab..
The musicians on the record is: Kenny Clarke, Francy Boland, Sahib Shihab, Fats Sadi, Joe Harris, Jimmy Woode and the tracks which are both originals and standards are Ebony Samba; Lush Life; Tin Tin Deo; Please don`t leave; Potter`s Crossing; Wives & Lovers; Ensadinado; Lorraine; Day by Day; Love Hungry.
This is the same record I had up 3 months ago, the buyer then couldnt pay for himself and then cancelled the deal. Please only serious buyers this time with money on their accounts!!!!
