1964 UK 1st *MONO* PRESSING* LP
This barely played 1964 UK 1st MONO pressing is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1230
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & have 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible around the side 1 centre hole.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse ' printed mono cover.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex..' rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 481-3N & XEX 482-3N
Stamper codes: 8/APG & 1/AOR

A superb clean & bright pair with totally unworn centre holes. Apart from a small area of missing paper on the side 1 both are EXCELLENT +, with just a handful of light spindle trails to each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both playing surfaces are perfectly clean & glossy and are unmarked in strong daylight. Close and careful inspection directly beneath halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than a sparkling rainbow shine and some harmless wispy paper hairlines, but no scratches or any other surface marks or wear. A super copy which lies 100% flat on the turntable with no traces of dishing or warping.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This copy has received only a handful of extremely careful plays and the sound throughout my careful play check was unworn, warm and clean. I detected just a touch of light background between some tracks but certainly no clicks, pops or any other such audible distraction on this fine disc.

EXCELLENT +
A fine example which has been carefully and correctly stored in non-smoking conditions for the past 45 years and is virtually unworn throughout. The front panel retains a totally unworn & unscratched high-gloss laminate where the only trace of wear is a small bend to the lower left corner but there are no 'thumbnails' anywhere. There are tiny bruises to the lower corners but both opening edges are sharp, clean & undamaged. The rear panel is totally unblemished with no marks, writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are intact & unworn and both seams are smooth and unstressed. The spine is fully worded and unworn.

EXCELLENT
Clean & crisp with a few tiny age-spots but no writing, splits or tears.
