On the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1230
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
An 'MT' tax/price code is visible in the centre of the side 1 label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover.
Complete with its original rice-paper lined 'Use Emitex' inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 481-3N & XEX 482-3N
Stamper numbers: 7/AAD & 2/ARG
Disc weight: 148g

Both are clean & undamaged with just some light spindle trails to each centre-hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both sides of this impressive copy are clean, bright and glossy & appear unmarked in strong daylight. Close & careful inspection directly under my powerful halogen light reveals some insignificant wispy hairlines from inner-sleeve removal but certainly no scuffs, scratches or any othersuch blemishes to either side. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.
Play: EXCELLENT
This untarnished copy has recieved just a small number of careful plays on good quality equipment as my careful playcheck uncovered no traces of background noise or groovewear distortion on any track. In fact, apart form 3 light clicks between tracks 1 & 2 on side 1, there is little to fault on this impressive sounding copy.
Cover
VERY GOOD
An overall clean & strong example. The front panel is clean & bright with just some light handling wrinkles. there is some shelfwear to the lower corners and bruising to the top two. The rear opening has some minor wear but no tears. The rear panel is slightly toned but has no writing, marks or missing paper. There is a 3cm lower seam split but the spine is clean and fully worded.
Inner-sleeve
VERY GOOD +
Clean & flat with just light age-toning but no splits, tears or writing.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
