This superb sounding UK 1st MONO pressing dates from initial July 1964 release.
On the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1230
Matrix numbers: XEX 481-3N & XEX 482-3N
Stamper codes: 3/GDA & 2/TT
Vinyl weight: 149g
Housed in a front-laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover.
Complete with original rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.

Visual: EXCELLENT
Audio: EXCELLENT +
With just a small handful of spindle trails around each cente hole, it is clear that this copy has been barely played. The sound quality throughout is clean & clear and free from any groove/playwear distortion and without any clicks, pops or any other such distractions. We would have graded 'EX+' visually but due to long-term storage side 1 has some cloudy patches. However, side 2 is unaffected and these minor blemishes do not affect the sound or spoil a great listening event.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A very respectable exmaple with an unworn high-gloss front panel bearing just a few light edge wrinkles. The corners and opening edges are in great shape and the exposed rear panel is super-clean and white. All flipbacks & seams are fully intact and the spine is clean & fully worded.
