Condition (record/cover) : VG+ (The record looks very nice. Shinny and glossy. The black and silver wide band grooved label with « original recording by » at 10 o’clock are superb. The stereo sound is fantastic ! Side 1 plays EX to Near Mint with only 3 very light pops during the very first seconds. Side 2 has 12 little pops during the first seconds than plays EX to Near Mint !!!) / VG+ ( The scalloped flipback sleeve is still in a very nice shape with some tape on the back sleeve and two little WOBC. Comes with the original Decca FFSS poly lined inner.)

Comment : This is a VERY NICE COPY OF THIS ULTRA RARE DECCA SXL 2029 WBG UK ED1. First issue from april 1959 with « E/T » tax code and with the ZAL 3475 2E and ZAL 3476 1E matrix numbers. AMAZING PERFORMANCE BY THE LEGENDARY CAMPOLI ! AMONG BEST VIOLIN RECORDINGS AND BEST SXL 2000 AS WELL !!!
Grading codes :
M- = Record in new condition, never played or looking like it. Sleeve as new.
EX = Record in superb condition, very rarely played, may present slight visible marks but no audible ones. Sleeve may present slight signs of natural aging.
VG+ = Record is really nice, may present a few visible marks which are slightly audible. Sleeve may present a few flaws like light openings, ringwear...
VG = Record has been played often, presents some visible and audible marks. Sleeve shows noticeable defects like heavy split seam, tears...
VG- = Record doesn't look nice because of general wear, it is in playable condition, but some/all tracks are noisy or click. Sleeve has noticeable general wear.
