Description

An original 1st press of D&D Layla on the UK Polydor label from 1970. Matrix A1/B2/A1/B2. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original MacNeill cover. Please note the cover is genuine 1st issue without any Polydor logo on the front to spoil the artwork.
Vinyl (Ex+/Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks per side, but nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. A beautiful clean rendition with very little to find fault with. Interference is borderline non-existent. All could we detect was a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments - per side. A fantastic player which just keeps churning out great audio from start to finish.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) In marvellous condition and it's a nice surprise finding vintage covers turning up looking quite this well cared for. Lovely clean front and rear with just one slight crease on the rear. The interior is immaculate - one might say "as new". Edge wear is very very slight for this title and the openings are still sharp. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
