This album was The Beatles FIRST release on the now famous Apple label. It was entered into the charts on the 7th of December 1968 and went straight to number one-where it stayed for 7 weeks! Making it the FIRST double album to get the top slot...EVER!
The rather unusual fact about this album is that it was the first release by The Beatles which contained only SOLO material.
By the time 1970 ended, the total sales of this wonderful album were estimated to be 6.5 Million! However...get this...The only other album that beat this a few years later was "Saturday Night fever" !!!

VG+. GORGEOUSLY shiny vinyl. The vinyl has only a couple of incredibly faintly visible marks to her.
I have just played her all the way through-after giving her a professional Vacuum clean and W-O-W..SUPERB AUDIO!
Wonderfully clear highs and deep bassy lows...Even the fading on Helter Skelter was fantastically quiet on the break down!
A pure joy to listen to!

You could frame these beauties!!
 All four of the labels are extremely bright and clean with the DARKER apple.
Only very light spindle marks-only visible when angled towards the light and actively looking for them! Barely ANY hole wear to each label.

This is the more unusual 4th pressing-pressed from October 1970 to around the Spring of 1971.
Sides 1 & 2 have the "An EMI Recording" on one line without brackets.
Sides 3 & 4 have ("An EMI Recording") on two lines and in brackets with inverted commas
"Mfd in the U.K." to each of the labels.
Without the SOLD IN UK text.

The Cover: NUMBERED: 160498.
 It is the 3rd 4th and 5th run: SIDE loading with a great shine to the laminate.
Without the flipbacks showing on the inside.
Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold.
The spine remains strong and free from any lifting to the laminate...LOVELY.

WITHOUT the printing of Stereo to the back top right.

There are just a couple of small crescents of spidering to the front laminate. The back panel has a longer line of spidering to the laminate, but nothing terrible at all.

Only very light rubbing to the corners.

Very good and very strong Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold. Lovely and clean inside.

Inners: EX-. Original WHITE inners.
They are both all original with the die-cut corners and "IMPORTANT NOTICE" printed statement to each.
They each have a minimal amount of handling wear to them with one having a small 2cm split to the bottom and both with only slight discolouration.
NO SPLITS TO ANY OF THE SEAMS
VERY NICE INDEED

Unfortunately these are later reproductions-but still lovely and glossy.

It is the ORIGINAL 3rd printing of this poster. Lyrics printed to the back and kiss to the front.
It is more glossy than the 1st pressing paper posters.
NO writing.
Has some wear to the creases of the fold-with a small hole in one of the corner creases-really nothing to worry about
WOULD DISPLAY INCREDIBLY WELL.
