Description

An original 1st mono press of AHDN on the UK Parlophone label from 1964. Matrix 3N/3N. Tax Code "MT". Please note label design is perfectly consistent with 1st press - 'recording 1st published' is mentioned and 'Parlophone' in the perimeter text. Also note the wide-bodied chubby font is employed - these are the very 1st copies to have been produced. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original mono G&L cover with flip-backs. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a few very light marks per side, and a very superficial trail mark - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Whether it's the low-key numbers or the uptempo ones it's all delivered with authority and aplomb. Interference is pretty much non-existent. We'll do the usual catch-all...do expect a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments. A very clean and impressive rendition...comes highly recommended! 
Cover (Ex) In great shape and has clearly been looked after carefully down the years. Lovely shiny front with only a couple of stress crease at the spine edge.The rear has seems to have escaped most of the usual ageing process - just lightest tanning evidence right a the opening. All flipbacks are intact and secure. Edge wear is very light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
