Description

An original 1st press of AR on the UK Apple label in 1969. Matrix 2/1 - 1st cut. Please note labels are consistent with 1st press and DO NOT mention 'her majesty' on side 2. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original slim spine cover - with that is-aligned Apple logo on the rear. We also have an original Apple inner sleeve for the time. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In very nice condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a few very superficial light [low-level] marks per side, a very light trail over the 2nd half of side 1. All fully tested - nothing's really causing much of a noticeable issue. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of slight deviations per side. Intros and inbetweens are really nice and quiet and the audio comes across excellent clarity. Folk insist on the early copies because they were pressed heavy - and the audio contained within is superb. A nice clean player into those lower-key tracks like 'Here Comes the Sun' & 'Because'. Even the super fussy tracks YNGMYM and Sun King played pretty clean - not perfect but better than what tends to typically surface. The only deviations are a couple of ticks in 'Maxwells Hammer' and a couple more toward the close-out on side 1. A couple more ticks briefly in 'Bathroom Window'. But nothing that noticeable or that should sway you from what is a really nice and impressive rendition. Recommended!
Cover (Vg+) Really nice shiny front and rear. Expect a bit of creasing down in the bottom left quadrant on the front, and a couple more creases on the rear. Edge wear is very light for this title. The spine is in excellent order with just faintest touch of wear - all text legible though. Overall the cover retains really good rigidity. 
Inner (Vg+) A bit aged. But no splits.
