Description

An original 1st issue of AHDN on the UK Parlophone label from 1964. Matrix 3N/3N. Please note the label design employs the chubby font and these pressings are the de facto very 1st of 1st pressings. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In very nice condition and has only seen a light to moderate level of use. Under close inspection we could only make out a few light marks either side, but nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are really nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Even the quieter paired down tracks play really nice and clean. Interference is mostly absent. All I could detect were a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments and at worst maybe one slight click. A very nice looking 1st press which yields some super audio..
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has been looked after down the years. Nice clean front with only a few creases over toward the opening. The rear seems to be relatively free from the usual ageing process which tends to afflict these covers. The text on the spine is all still legible, but the spine has taken a knock in a couple of spots weakening it slightly. 
Inner (Ex) Lightest ageing. No slits or markings.
