Description

An original 1st issue of AHDN on the UK Parlophone label from 1964. Matrix 3N/3N. Please note the label design employs the chubby font and these pressings are the de facto very 1st of 1st pressings. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In very nice condition and has only seen a light to moderate level of use. Under close inspection we could only make out a few light marks either side, and one semi-feelable mark - but nothing that's going to cause significant issue or feature in the audio. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are really nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Even the quieter paired down tracks play nice and clean. Interference is very minor and infrequent. All I could detect were a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments e.g. in Track 1 very briefly. A very nice looking 1st press which yields some super audio....>>>
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has been looked after down the years. Nice clean and unaged front with only a couple of stress creases on the bottom edge. The rear seems to have avoided the worst of the the usual ageing process - just some traces in one or two sections. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) Lightest ageing. No splits or markings.
