Description

An original 1st mono press of AHDN on UK Parlophone. Matrix 3N/3N. Labels are consistent with earliest 1st press - the font employed is wide-body. There's Parlophone mentioned in the perimeter text and 'recording 1st pub' exhibits too. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original G&L cover. We also have an original Emitex inner sleeve. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In excellent order and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are just a couple of light marks per side, one very superficial trail - nothing remotely troublesome. The surfaces look super with a nice sheen - a bit of a marvel considering its vintage. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Truly a beautiful player which totally belies it's age. It delivers all tracks clean and faithfully. Perhaps just a few isolated crackles in one track per side. Nothing upfront - only very minor in the mix. The only detrimental thing I could pick out was a couple of ticks in 'Things We Said'. Other than that a blindingly good copy.
Cover (Vg+) In very respectable order and has not been abused. The front is clean and flat with just a couple of stress creases down at the foot. The rear has avoided the worst affects of ageing - just a bit of low-level stuff evident. Edge wear is relatively light. The spine is fine with just a couple of stress creases. The text is 90% legible. Overall the cover still retains very good rigidity.
Inner (Vg+)  Light ageing. A one inch side split has been taped up.
