Description

An original 1st press of AHDN on the UK Parlophone label from 1964. Matrix 3N/3N. Please note the labels are consistent with very 1st press and exhibit the chubby font and 'Parlophone' in the perimeter text. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover. 
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen a light to moderate level of use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks either side, some superficial scuffing in one spot - but nothing intrusive or troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Even the quieter paired down tracks play really nice and clean. Interference is mostly absent. All I could detect were a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments. A beautifully preserved 1st press copy...impressive!
Cover (Vg+) In great shape and has been looked after down the years. Fairly clean front, but exhibiting a bit of discolouration in that top white sector. The rear has escaped much of the usual fading process. Then there's just a bit of creasing in places on the flipbacks. The spine is mostly intact with the text mostly legible. Overall the cover retains very nice rigidity.
