CONDITION

Disc

Labels: EXCELLENT

A bright and clean pair with a small number of light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole

Visual: VERY GOOD +

Both playing surfaces are clean with a light fingernail scuff line on side 1, along with a few other light mark commensurate with light play and sleeve-removal. Close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals only a few harmless wispy paper paper hairlines and a sparkling rainbow shine.

Sound Quality: VERY GOOD +

This respectable sounding copy has received a moderate amount of careful play and is without any major deterioration to the sound quality or any significant audible faults. My playcheck detected some light background on the opening ambiance as well as on the delicate 'She's Leaving Home' & 'When I'm 64'. However, there are no clicks, pops, jumps or any other such distractions

Cover: NEAR MINT

A truly exceptional example of this earliest of covers, which never seems to survive in anything approaching this condition

The iconic front panel is 'as new' with no trace of any storagewear or 'thumbnail' wrinkles to its pristine high-gloss laminate

All corners are in great shape with nothing more than a tiny bruise to the upper left. All opening edges are sharp & totally unworn

Both panels inside the gatefold are immaculate and still bear the original retailer's sticker, which I have not attempted to remove

The rear panel is a fine and as unworn as the front and all seams of both pockets are smooth, unstressed & unsplit

The spine is clean & fully intact with just a few tiny areas of split laminate, but the wording is unaffected

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT

Some gentle storage wrinkling but no writing, tears or seam splits

  Cut-out sheet: MINT
